A Houston Blogger Symposium Xmas

This weekend was the Houston Blogger Symposium Holiday Party! I had a lot of fun and hung out with friends - old and new. :)

Brandi and I ran into each other at a restaurant a few months ago. This time we got to hang out for reals.
I promise we weren't just on our phones and cameras all night. ;)

The event was packed with entertainment! There were loads of boutiques, including Sunchild, a pretty rad D.J., Braid Bar, and Smilebooth [where I seriously embarrased myself!].
And then there was Foto Fridge [top picture on the left]. Have you ever seen one of those machines?? It takes your photos off instagram with specific hashtags [i.e. #HBSYM #FOTOFRDG] and prints them out. So cool!

I may or may not have made a few Christmas wishes. I mean, you see the red cup - gotta take advantage!

I met Haley from Style Sound. She and her friend Karrin blog about music and fashion. I love their blog layout! Not pictured that I also hung out with: Megan of Live Strange, Breanna of The Thing About Joy, and Anna of Dr. PP, M.D..

Aaaaand the hostesses! Megan [center] put together the Symposium last September, and she and Brandi set up the holiday party. Such a success. Thanks, ladies!

When Kelly put her fox mask on, I told her there is no way I was not getting a photo. :)

If you live in Houston, I suggest you hit up the next Symposium meet up.
So much fun!

  5. You know that I get weird about things like this, but maybe I'll go the next time! Looks like you had a blast! You totally need a fox mask! Though your face-painting for Halloween was pretty sweet.
