Sunday Snapshots

 How was your weekend? I spent time with my friends mostly, but Sunday was a bit more relaxed.

A friend of mine loaned me her kindle. I'm reading "Breed." Freakin' creepy. Very appropriate to read in October, I suppose.

 My mom came back into town! Which means I get some extra nourishment. Like this quick and easy meal before roller derby practice.

 And my favorite. Cafe con leche.

I'm going to see Metric for a third time tonight. I love that band. It reminds me of when Daniel and I started dating...since he is the one who introduced me.

Most of this week will be spent in Austin, attending a conference for work. I'm excited about Austin, but not so excited about being away from home for so long. It feels like there's a lot going on. And I'm going to miss derby and crossfit. :-/

Once the conference is over I will be making a day trip to Fredericksburg, all by my lonesome.

Those of you who have been, can you recommend some spots? I've never visited. I'd kind of like to find a pumpkin patch. :)
