A few friends and I went to see Metric at House of Blues Houston. Their opening band was pretty rad. :)
hmmmmm...... I really appreciate the feedback [via FB, Insta, and this post] regarding hair color. I couldn't get the right shade of red in the photo above. I actually wanted it more orange. A few people have talked to me about the upkeep...and I had the same issues when I went "blonde" - so I am still mauling it over. :)

As previously mentioned, I was in Austin attending the Advancing Improvement in Education Conference. I was pretty pleased overall. The keynote speaker really blew me away. She had audience members tweet with #aieconf and discussed questions and comments from the feed. I participated and was mentioned a couple times. In a room full of thousands of educators. Kinda neat.
Despite feeling poopy these past couple days, I sucked it up and had a nice little trampoline workout [followed by bootcamp the next day!]. Pictured above is my college roommate, Weezy. Not me. You know who else is not me?
This girl. That's Brandaid, a pretty amazing Houston Roller Derby athlete.

ReplyDeleteI've been to Fredericksburg once for a wedding and didn't have time to look around, I know there are a lot of cute shops and there's a place called Wild Seed Farms, I think? Something to do with wild flowers, I don't know what it's like this time of a year but I remember hearing someone rave about it!
