Um, last weekend was pretty much the best ever.
Between theme parks and beaches? And Harry Potter?? It wins.
And then it was almost time to leave my family. I apologize if you are tired of hearing about how homesick I am. I'm not sure why I am especially depressed after this departure. Perhaps it's because my grandparents are aging and I had so much fun? And my aunt and grandma make such yummy food, and I was able to read and hang out? And my cousins took me on amazing adventures?
I will go back soon. It's just never for long enough.
I ate good food, got a decent tan, and spent time with those who matter most.
And then I left. :*(
Daniel did something very out of the ordinary. He brought flowers to the airport.
I think he realizes I have a rough time readjusting after my trips to Florida. <3
And then came routine.
And a tutorial.
I hope y'all have an amazing weekend!
I will be looking for distractions until I quit being a baby about being back home. haha :)

Your face looks ridiculously adorable in that first shot. I'm super jealous of the Harry Potter adventure--my blogging partner is going to hit it up in a couple weeks and between the two of you I just can't stand it! :-) I hope readjusting to home goes well. Letter writing is always a fun and personal way to stay in touch--it's slower, granted, but there's something about holding a letter from someone that makes them feel closer.

I went to Harry Potter Land last summer...so fun! Can't wait to get back there...just not in the summer. so hot!
ReplyDeleteTrue story: our original hope for a Honeymoon was for Kauai, because that's where they shot Jurassic Park. Apparently the posts that help up the JP gate are still there. And you can take a private helicopter tour past the famous waterfall from the intro scene.
