i actually borrowed and edited this recipe from Leslie Durso – she has some awesome ideas!
There isn’t much explaining to do with tacos! So let’s keep this short
You can take a lot of liberties with this “recipe.” I sauteed my fake meat [+seasoning and chili powder], onions [green and white] and peppers, and mushrooms. I did the “meat” separate from the veggies and shrooms, then mixed it all together.
My favorite part is the shell. I don’t know about you, but I used to LOVE Taco Bell’s Cheesy Gordita Crunch – NOM. Take a flour tortilla, put cheese on either side and nuke it for about 20 seconds, then wrap it to the corn taco shell. WIN. The cheese acts like delicious glue.
Add whatever you want inside, and chow down!
